The Humboldt Handweavers and Spinners Guild is a non-profit social organization for anyone interested in textile arts. HHSG membership includes a broad range of textile artists, including (but certainly not limited to) handspinners, weavers (everything from rugs to garments to tapestries), knitters, crocheters, feltmakers, papermakers, basketmakers, woolgrowers, and more. HHSG holds general meetings on the second Thursday of the month, at 7:00 p.m. The usual meeting place at the Ink People Weaving Studio is unavailable due to 2010 earthquake damage. Monthly meetings include a short business meeting, show and tell, access to the Guild library and general socializing, followed by a program on fiber-related topics. All are welcome!
