The Humboldt Handweavers and Spinners Guild was established in 1971 – Henrietta Chizzola is listed as our Charter Member. Membership has grown to  80+ over the years.


The guild provides an exhibit and demonstrations yearly at the Humboldt County Fair in August.

We also sponsor awards for Natural Fiber entries at the fair.


The guild is a member of the Conference of Northern California Handweavers


The guild participates in the Natural Fiber Fair with sponsorship and a Fiber Circle
